Making it illegal for parents to let their children (14 and under) watch more than two hours of television daily would drastically decrease the rate of child obesity in America because more children would spend time doing physical activities instead.

Good job on the A1 term; a little variety is good. The premise of your third WATCO is intriguing, but I imagine that such a law would never pass because it would be impossible to enforce. It would be like Prohibition all over again, only lamer.

I'm not sure that kids would actually spend more time being active. Lazy kids will always be lazy. They'll find places to loiter outside maybe, but probably not to play. Or they might take up gambling.
